Here's one of the last projects I did at Vice, an ad for the Vice guide to film, nothing too crazy, just kind of built it as I was asked but it has some funny visuals. Haven't seen the print version yet but will post some pics as soon as I do.

Here is a video for the always wonderful band These Are Powers that I was in with friends and my girlfriend Sally. It was directed and produced by Joseph Krings who you should check out here: www.josephkrings.com. It was great to work on this and amazing to see how truly talented our friends are but I will never look at sugar the same way again.

A quick poster I did for my new band Dynasties and Church of the Snake and Human Resources. Come and see us play and go see Church of the Snake and HR, they're both amazing! Also I'm now working for a company called Glamour Kills, I'll probably post some things I'm working on there from time to time but here's the first project I did for them.

Meat Pies

Poster and post card for a meat pie eating contest...that's right, meat pie eating contest, for Vice and Tuck Shop. Also a new poster for Experimental Dental School.

No Age Prints

No Age/Wavves/Crocodiles

A poster for No Age, Wavves, crocodiles. Design is finished, still have to screen print though. I wanted to use some elements from previous posters that I really loved and use them with some cutouts. Looking at it now, I would have planned for more imagery but I'm still really happy with how it turned out.

is it nerdy to spend your birthday building type?

I know I said I wouldn't work on my birthday, but I did anyways...just a little bit. Here's a font I've been playing with and some type for a new poster I'm working on for No Age/Wavves/Crocodiles/Pens/Graffiti Island. Not sure this is really what I want to do but I like it. Maybe it will be better for something else if I don't use it here.

BIZART

Here's artwork I recently did for a 7" comp called BIZARKANSAS for Arkansas Experimental Uprising. I'm obsessed with block text and cutouts lately but haven't gotten it completely out of my system yet, so I'm sure there will be more to come. There's also a cassette version of this but it's scaled down a lot. I'll post at another time. Pick one up if you see any of these bands most likely heading out on tour at some point. They're all amazing!!!

Arkansas Experimental Uprising

Logo for the Arkansas Experimental Uprising. Not sure I'm done with this yet, but wanted to show it. Any critique is appreciated. There's some really great things coming from Arkansas these days...Attractive and Popular, Cold Mold, Church of the Snake, Color Club, Ginsu Wives, Perpetual Werewolf...and more, it's really exciting I think.

The Vera Project

The last two years I've submitted designs for the Vera Project's Bring It! Screen It! fundraiser. The event raises money for their screen printing workshop and invites 10 designers to create original Vera logos that are available to the public to screen print on whatever article of clothing they bring to the event.
